IT Professionalism Online Conference, hosted by IT Professionalism Europe, eSkills Malta and the Irish Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition, which will take place on 12 October 13:00-15:45 IST.
No one doubts that today’s digital technology is moving at such a speed that it is difficult to keep up. This alone is very challenging for the IT industry and its professionals and practitioners, while the lack of digital competence in SMEs and COVID-19 are adding additional pressure.
Shared perspectives and collaborations are key to tackle the various issues that we face. This event is one such opportunity. Join the event and find out how existing standards and best practice can help you and your organisation.
The event will explore the ways in which IT professionalism can contribute to Europe’s Covid-19 recovery as well as provide an in-depth look at the e-Competence Framework (e-CF) and how it is applied by relevant stakeholders
Speakers will include officials from the European Commission as well as other industry and public sector representatives.
The programme consists of keynote speeches followed by two panel discussions – ‘Spearheading the Covid-19 recovery through digital skills: challenges and solutions’ and ‘e-Competence Framework in Practice: Companies and Higher Education’.
Mary Cleary, Deputy CEO of the Irish Computer Society/ICS Foundation and Chair of the CEN TC 428, Digital Competences and IT Professionalism will be speaking at the event and moderating panels.
